My Review of Styxx by Sherrlynn Kenyon

Styxx is my favorite to date. When I heard how long it was I was a little skeptical and thought it would be a total re-hashing of Acheron. Kenyon has shocked me and impressed me to my core. Unlike so many other authors I give up on when the story begins to drag around book eleven or twelve, I am so happy to read these novels. No kidding this was the longest book I have ever read. I also have to say it was one of the best books I have ever read. As a true mythology nut I loved the classic names like Antigone and Hector. The symbols are just too many not to notice. Not to mention her characters are so believable and life-like.  I loved the twist at the end with Urian, and of course that they got a new baby to raise. However with the time sequence shift I am thinking that Kenyon's Dark Hunters and Nick books are about to sync up in a significant way. This is one of my favorite series and I can't wait to see more from this amazing author. I just finished this book and I am already drooling for another one. Thank God Kenyon is such a fast writer.
